A Carpet is my graduation project at Shenkar College. It is a knitted carpet made with Nylon, Wool, Acrylan, Cotton and Plastic Waste.
Size : 5.20 Meters X 3.70 Meters
Just like traditional carpets of old, from Turkey and Persia, that served as medium for spirituals concepts and abstract ideas, the “carpet” I am making mediates between the dreary, mundane everyday reality, and a cheerful spiritual world, that colors the dull, trivial city anew.
